Pick your own flowers

Pick your own flowers from December to March

Come and spend 90 minutes wandering through Gina's Garden, choosing your favourite seasonal flowers and creating a beautiful bouquet to take home.

Our Pick Your Own season runs from December through to the end of March, with different flowers coming into bloom as the season progresses.

When can I visit?

Rather than opening on set days every week, we release our Pick Your Own sessions one month at a time.

Sessions are generally available on:

  • Saturdays

  • Sundays

  • Selected late evenings during the week

  • Selected public holidays

New sessions will be released in our online shop closer to the time, so you can choose a date that works for you and see what's happening in the garden that month.

Why release sessions monthly?

Flower gardens are always changing. By releasing sessions closer to the time, we can respond to what's actually happening in the garden and make sure there are plenty of beautiful flowers for you to pick.

It also means each month of the season has something different to offer.

What's in bloom?

The garden changes throughout the season, so there is always something new to discover.

Early summer brings an abundance of colourful annuals, while dahlias and other late-summer favourites take centre stage as the season progresses.

You might find dahlias, zinnias, cosmos, celosia, sunflowers, strawflowers, amaranthus, snapdragons and many more seasonal flowers throughout your visit.

Flower availability varies depending on the time of year and what's blooming in the garden.
