Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book?Yes please! All visits must be booked in advance through our website or contact form. We can’t accommodate walk-ins as sessions may be full or the garden may be closed.
How long are the picking sessions?You-pick sessions run for 90 minutes. You’re welcome to arrive anytime within your session window.
What flowers are in bloom?Flowers change with the seasons and the weather, but here’s a rough guide:
Spring (October–December)
Ranunculus, peonies, daffodils, iris, poppies, snapdragons and more.
Summer & Autumn (January–March)
Dahlias, zinnias, gladioli, cosmos, sunflowers, scabiosa, celosia and more
How does a you-pick flower farm work?It’s a little like a pick-your-own berry farm, but prettier! Choose your jar or bucket, grab our snips, then wander through the flower rows picking the blooms you love. Gina will be around to help if you need guidance.
When is the best time to pick flowers?For the best vase life, we recommend visiting early morning or later in the afternoon, especially during hot summer days.
Can I bring children?Absolutely, families are very welcome! We just ask that children are supervised closely at all times and that adults handle the snips.
Can I bring my dog?Sorry, no visiting dogs allowed.
We have two resident garden dogs though. Isla the Frenchie and Wilbur the Pug, who may come say hello.
How long are sessions?Yes! You’re welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy the garden after your picking session. Please take all rubbish home with you.
We currently don’t have guest toilets onsite, but there are public toilets nearby at the park at the end of our street.
Can you pick flowers for me?Yes , if you’re short on time, we can pick flowers for you in your preferred colour palette.

$20 for jars
$50 for buckets

What happens if it rains?We are open in light showers. Updates will be made on our social media. If the weather is too poor for flower picking, we’ll contact you to cancel and provide a refund.
What is your cancellation policy?Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your session receive a full refund.
Do you do wedding flowers?Yes! We love helping with weddings. We can provide DIY flower buckets, recommend talented local florists, or even grow specific flowers for your big day if organised well in advance.
Can we book a private event?Absolutely. We host private flower picking parties, workshops and small events with a minimum spend of $300. Get in touch with your ideas and we’ll create something special.
What does it cost to pick your own flowers?We keep it simple with three options:
Small Jar — $35
Large Jar — $50
Bucket — $120
We provide the containers and snips, you just bring yourself.!
Can I visit without picking flowers?At this stage, all visits are part of a booked you-pick session, private event or workshop. This helps us manage numbers and keep the garden peaceful for everyone to enjoy.
Do you sell gift vouchers?Yes! Gift vouchers are available and make a beautiful present for flower lovers.
