Join us at Gina’s Garden, our family-run flower farm in Brightwater, Nelson, for a slow, peaceful wander through our seasonal flower field. April is firmly autumn in the garden. The light is softer, the air is cooler, and the field is still full of colour as the season slowly begins to wind down.
Our summer favourites are still putting on a wonderful show, with dahlias and zinnias continuing to bloom beautifully. You’ll also find celosia, echinacea, rudbeckia, achillea, strawflowers and matricaria flowering throughout the field, and we’re hoping to have the first of the stock and snapdragons ready to pick as well.
The garden is overflowing with colour and texture, with so much to pick and enjoy.
Small Jar: Fits around 20 stems. Lovely for a smaller arrangement, and the jar is yours to keep and bring back next time.
Large Jar: Fits around 35 stems. Perfect if you want a fuller bunch or love a bit of colour on every bench at home. The jar is also yours to keep.
Bucket: Fits around 80 stems. Ideal if you want to fill your house with summer blooms, or perfect for hosting, events, or a big creative arranging session.
