This mix of open-faced and anemone dahlias hand-collected from Gina’s Garden, where bees have danced across every bloom. The result is a surprise of colours and forms, perfect for pollinator-friendly borders or cheerful summer bouquets.
Sow seeds in trays and keep warm and lightly moist until sprouted (around 10–14 days). Dahlias need light to germinate; a thin layer of vermiculite will help keep the seeds damp. Direct sowing into the garden isn’t recommended. Transplant to a sunny garden bed after all frost risk has passed. Expect to see flowers by midsummer.

Dahlias are a tender perennial. Seedlings planted this year will flower and develop tubers. Protect the tubers from frost and excess moisture over winter and they will return to flower again next Summer!
