10am Saturday 14th March | Pick Your Own Flowers Experience

This PYO flower experience is for the 10am session on Saturday 14th March.

Join us at Gina’s Garden, our family-run flower farm in Brightwater, Nelson, for a slow, peaceful wander through our seasonal flower field. March brings a gentle change in the air. The light softens, the mornings cool, and the garden begins its gradual drift toward autumn. It’s a beautiful time to pick, with the field still bursting with colour but carrying that calm early-autumn feeling.

Our summer lovers are still going strong, with dahlias and zinnias continuing to put on a show. You’ll also find celosia, amaranthus, echinacea, rudbeckia, achillea, strawflowers, statice, cosmos, matricaria, scabiosa, and the first of the lisianthus coming into bloom.

The garden is absolutely overflowing with colour and texture, there’s so much to pick and enjoy.

PYO Options for March

  • Small Jar: Fits around 20 stems. Lovely for a smaller arrangement, and the jar is yours to keep and bring back next time.

  • Large Jar: Fits around 35 stems. Perfect if you want a fuller bunch or love a bit of colour on every bench at home. The jar is also yours to keep.

  • Bucket: Fits around 80 stems. Ideal if you want to fill your house with summer blooms, or perfect for hosting, events, or a big creative arranging session.

Your Flower Experience Includes

  • A dedicated 90 minute flower-picking session in a stunning natural setting

  • Use of our snips and friendly guidance if you need a hand

  • The simple joy of choosing your own flowers, stem by stem

Pick Your Own – Terms & Conditions

Bookings & Payment
Bookings are essential. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

Session Times
Please arrive within your allocated session time. Entry isn’t available before your booked start time, and all guests must leave when the session finishes so we can prepare the field for the next group.

Children & Supervision
Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Weather
PYO sessions are weather dependent. If the weather turns unsafe or unsuitable, we may need to cancel or reschedule your session.

In the Field
Please stay within the designated picking areas, be gentle with the plants, and follow any guidance from our team. For everyone’s safety and comfort, smoking and alcohol are not permitted in the field.

Personal Belongings
Please keep your belongings with you. Gina’s Garden is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Cancellations & Refunds
We don’t offer refunds for no-shows or last-minute cancellations. If you need to cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours beforehand and we’ll happily provide a full refund.

Photography
Commercial or styled photography sessions must be arranged with us in advance.

Liability
Entry to the flower field is at your own risk. We cannot accept liability for injuries, accidents, or damage to personal property.

Changes

We may update session details, prices, or these terms from time to time.

By booking a Pick Your Own session, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
